The Cart-Pole Application as a Benchmark for Neuromorphic Computing, by James S. Plank, Charles P. Rizzo, Chris A. White and Catherine D. Schuman, in Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications. This paper evaluates this well-known application as a benchmark, proposes and evaluates several levels of difficulty.
